Workshops for children and families making puppets out of natural materials.

Wild Puppet workshops were developed for the Weird and Wonderful Wood festival in Suffolk. Based on a frameworks of willow (withies) grown in Nutmeg’s garden, rod and string puppet characters and all kinds of animals are created with assistance from puppet makers. Participants learn how to use small hand tools safely, and to knot, bind and attach in many different ways. All materials and tools provided. Short performances can be produced, and puppets go home with their makers!
Suitable for families, or groups of children over 8, at outdoor and wildlife events or home-education groups.
