Being Carbon Neutral

A workshop for primary and middle schools in the Broads to encourage innovative thinking about ways of living with reduced dependence on carbon-based technologies, produced in 2009 by Meg Amsden and Nicky Rowbottom.

We used examples of carbon neutral and energy efficient buildings as an inspiration, unlocking the imagination through the practical, theatrical medium of shadow puppetry. The project was funded by the Broads Authority Sustainable Development Fund and aided by Festival Republic/Latitude Festival.
