At 15 mins, our shortest available show!
Famous Five Birds – the show – was created as part of a project involving children from 10 schools; a puppeteer and maker (Meg Amsden); a composer (Nathan Williamson); a poet (Matt Howard); two bird experts (Steve and Kathy Piotrowski); a video maker (Debra Hyatt); a bird song composer/recordist (Peter Cowdray of Birdswing); a scratch orchestra; and an army of volunteers.
The project was produced and organised by Waveney and Blyth Arts.
The show was first performed as part of an entertainment in 8 venues in the Waveney and Blyth valleys. It incorporates children’s designs, poems and ideas.
It is available as a short item for performance on its own. It can also be shown as a film, or can form part of a shadow-puppet workshop.
