The project to clear the mud out of Barton Broad was under way, but no sooner had Ted’s dredger pumped a ton of mud out, than more started to creep in from an unknown source. Meanwhile in a nearby pulk-hole the animals and plants struggled to survive as the water grew cloudy and the algae multiplied. In a drastic last attempt to save their lives, the fish enlist the aid of an eccentric weather foreteller, but whose side is she on?
