My special programmes are:
Friday 2.15 – 3.45  A homage to Ron Fuller, Sue Jackson and Cabaret Mechanical Theatre, including Ron in his workshop, and the preparations for the legendary Ride of Life.
Saturday 12 – 1pm  A programme of films by students including BFI Academy Norwich and Ipswich.
Saturday 3.30 – 5pm The Premiere of Debra Hyatt‘s new film, “The Dark Heart of Dunwich” (made initially for Suffolk Record Office Land and Shore project), with shadow puppets by Meg Amsden and original music by Mim Barnes/Tin River.
In the same programme we have the first screening of Mel Horwood‘s new film – “Made in Suffolk” – about the ground-breaking dance animateur Scilla Dyke. Also showing “The Lower Depths” by Mike Ellis with music by Murphy’s Lore; “Blue from Heaven” by Suzie Hanna; and “The Hooden Horse”, by James Frost with a special appearance by the horse himself, all the way from Whitstable.
Sunday 12 – 1pm A programme of films about the environment including animated gems by Forkbeard Fantasy/ Tim Britton, including “Night of the Gnat” with an introduction by Tim Rayner, the director.
Also showing …because I am part of this by Norfolk artist Jayne Ivimey.
