Degree in Social Anthropology at Cambridge University. Has worked in educational theatre, dance and puppetry since ' 75. Set up Nutmeg in ' 78 to make and tour original puppet shows and teach people of all ages and abilities. Has worked with Guy Richardson, Charivari, Welfare State, Company of Imagination, Norfolk REACT and Artlink. Designed and made masks for Spectrum Theatre Company for the Millenium Dome. Lectured on Open University TAD Summer School and for Lowestoft College Special Needs Department. Set up and ran Sound of Wangford project for rural children for 12 years. Founder member of Puppeteers East and chair of British UNIMA.

Studied 'Art & Design in a Social Context' at Dartington College of Arts, specialising in performing arts & community arts. Continuing her studies at Sheffield Poly in costume & film. Has worked as a community artist, milliner, photographer, graphic designer, technician & puppeteer. Ran 'The Sound of Wangford' creative workshops for 6 years. Designed & made backdrops for the Village Stage, Womad festival for 10 years. Director & exhibitions organiser of Craft Co. contemporary craft co-operative.
